For 48 years, Mary’s Place (formerly the Rape Crisis Center of the Coastal Empire) has provided resources and advocacy to survivors of sexual assault and prevention education to youth and adults. Since its inception, our annual gala has raised thousands of dollars to support our mission.
We provide a wide range of services to support survivors including telephone advocacy via our 24/7 crisis line, hospital accompaniment, survivor advocacy, support groups, and more.
Volunteers are the lifeblood of our response team, allowing Mary’s Place to have the greatest reach and impact in our community. We are always looking for mature, empathetic, and dedicated individuals who are driven to make a difference in our community.
This integral role has the ability to serve in a variety of ways, including Crisis Line Volunteer, Hospital Advocate, clerical support, fundraising, or to staff booths at area festivals and educational events.
